Blog-tember - Goals

I wrote some about making and organizing my goals here a while back but today on the blog-tember challenge, we are sharing our current goals!  I made a goal chart a few months ago and it is always evolving! If you are anything like me, your goals are constantly changing.  I reach some and mark them off and then add a few more.  I am definitely a goal oriented person so I tend to go a little overboard at times but I have always heard if you don’t write them down, you will never reach them!

Currently, on the top of my goal radar are…

  • Finish updating my flower bed.  We pulled up a bunch of overgrown shrubs a couple of weeks ago and I am working on creating a cleaner look in front of my house.
  • Plan a Pumpkin Patch Trip.
  • Stick to my budget and pay off the rest of my debt.
  • Continue savings for Disney World and Christmas.
  • Continue my daily devotions of New Morning Mercies and journal more.
  • Women’s Ministry - the Lord has placed a huge desire on my heart to create a special ministry for the women in my life.  He is still laying out the details on who and what and where but I am really praying on his guidance in this.  Definitely a long term goal but on my radar!
  • Read 4 books.. At least one nonfiction.
  • Plan a get-together with my college friends.
  • Blog-Tember challenge.
  • Lose 10 pounds (I have been working super hard with my eating and exercising the last few week and am really proud of the progress I have made so far considering I have been on a serious plateau the last few months).
  • Follow my running plan! Should be up to 8 miles by the end of September.

I am excited about scratching a few of these off in the coming weeks during this challenge!

  1. WOW! Great goals! 8 miles by the end of September is super impressive! I cannot get myself past 3 miles! What plan are you using and are you training for a race?

    1. I never thought I would be able to either but following a good plan really helps! I've been following this one below for the most part but have tweaked it a little to suit me a little better.
I am running the Army 10 miler in DC in October so I'm really working to get ready for it!
