Happy Happy birthday to our sweet Hunny Bunny! She's the sweetest soul with a big huge heart. She loves to dance and play ball and can jump higher and run faster than any kid I've ever known. She's the most talented little thing and has the kindest soul. She loves to have fun and be silly and is the best of friends with everyone whose path she crosses. She wants to be a dance teach when she grows up and loves to play with her little dolls. We always love celebrating this super special girl and cannot believe our baby is EIGHT!!

First Day of School 2020
Yesterday was the first day of school and to say these two were happy would be an understatement! They were up and ready early and so ready to get to school to see their friends and officially meet their new teachers. I was a little worried about just having to drop them off on the first day and not being able to go in and get them settled but they literally jumped out the car and went right in without ever even looking back. I may have teared up a little bit as I headed home to an empty house.
It was so bittersweet for me. I loved being able to drop them off and pick them up since I am working from home now. It's definitely a sweet time that I have not been able to do regularly and as little and meaningless as it seems, it was something that I loved being able to do.
If I ever questioned sending the girls back to traditional school, the joy they had when they got home yesterday erased any doubt. They were literally overjoyed and chatted all day about it. Not once did they complain about masks or social distancing or being contained to just their class for the time being. They didn't even care or worry one bit about all that. Kids really are resilient and see the cup as half full all the time and I am so thankful for that. I am also so thankful for our school system, teachers, and administrators who have gone above and beyond to make this year work for our kids. They are providing a safe environment while still allowing the kids some normalcy and enjoyment at school. I know they have been working extra hard to get ready for this year and I am so thankful for that.
We celebrated a great first day with a stop by Kreme Delite. They were ready for bed last night and up ready to go bright and early again today. It was a great day and we are looking forward to a really great year ahead in 2nd and 4th grade
