We took a much needed vacation to Callaway Gardens over Memorial Day weekend with Jarrod's family. We had a really great time getting away together. It has been YEARS since we all went on a vacation together with Jarrod's parents and sisters and their families. The last time we went, I was pregnant with Hunter Claire. Jarrod's family always vacationed to Callaway Gardens when he was growing up and we went there on our honeymoon together too so it holds a special place in our hearts. We enjoyed making new memories there with our girls and just getting to all spend some extra time together away from the business of the real world.
We enjoyed swimming, exploring, and beaching. The guys spent one morning golfing and some of us attempted the Treetop Adventure (that was way under stated about how high and hard it really was). We rode bikes, watched fireworks, ate lots of good food, and even got to make a stop by the highly anticipated Buc-ee's! It was a great weekend away and I hope we get to do it again before 9 more years pass!
