Best of December

Aside from all the holiday festivities, we still had some pretty great moments to capture for December.

My longest friend, Melesa, graduated nursing school and got engaged to the sweetest guy!  I was so glad I got to be a part of it all and am so excited for her!  Can’t wait for all the wedding festivities coming her way!

Hadley’s cheer squad had their banquet and celebrated a great football season.  It really was a fun year for the girls.

The girls went to dance camp at the high school and got to perform at the basketball game.

I ran the Rocket City Half Marathon.  It was cold and exhausting but I am always so glad and feel so accomplished when I do these races.

The weather has been crazy!  We’ve had rain, snow, tornadoes, and hot days!

We spent the few days after Christmas in a holiday hangover fog.  We slept late, spent a lot of time in our PJs, and really enjoyed some extra time at home.  We did finally leave the house to use our pedicure and movie gift cards but that’s about as wild as we got.  Those days off really were glorious and so what we needed after a
few weeks of bustling around everywhere.

A great way to end the year feeling refreshed!

Best of Christmas

I think I will just leave this as a picture post because there was just so much goodness going on!  We had the best Christmas season with all of our family and friends.  All the traditions, parties, and gatherings were just as perfect as they could have ever been.  I love the girls at this age and everything has really just been magical.  I so cherish these moments.

We kicked it off with our Hanging of the Greens Service on December 1st and ended it with a fun filled day full of gifts, food, and family. I'm just going to go ahead and share all the fun right here...
