Movie Night

Jarrod went on a little hunting trip this week so the girls and I decided to venture out to the movies with my sister-in-law and nephew to see be new Chipmunks movie. I'm so glad they are finally big enough (even though we may tend to be a tiny bit disruptive at times-- good thing we just go see little kid movies) to go to the movies. It's one of my favorite things to do so I love they get to enjoy it too!

And what's a trip to the movies without a fifty cent family portrait session?!

Merry Christmas 2015

We had such a fun and busy Christmas week!  Thankfully, most of our family lives fairly close so we don't have to do a lot of traveling.  We got to spend time with both of our families and the girls have had the most wonderful time!  We are all so blessed and I am so thankful for all we have.  I can't believe another Christmas has already come and gone so quickly but I am definitely cherishing this time with the girls!

Rudolph Run 2015

A few weeks ago, my friend Melesa called me and said she was going to run the Rudolph Run if I wanted to join and I am so glad I did! It was a little chilly this morning but ended up being a really nice run! And it was even more fun doing it with a friend that I love dearly!

And we even got to have a little visit to Santa's Village while we were there and visit the reindeer!

I have really loved running this year! I guess I could consider it my new favorite "hobby". It's hard to really explain what I love about it when people are like ugh that doesn't sound fun at all but I just like the peaceful, easy, yet a little bit competitive feeling that comes with it!

My goal was 10 races this year and I did it! Not gonna lie, I don't always wake up every day and think oh I can't wait to run today but I am always glad on the days I do! And I really love the races and the friends I have made through them this year! My new goal for next year is going to be 12 races and to set a new PR. I'm determined to get my 5k time under 25 minutes! Seems pretty ambitious to me but we shall see how that goes!

Little Tots Christmas Party!

I'm Hadley had such a good time at her Christmas Party at Little Tots today! They decorated cookies with lots and lots of icing and sugar and drew numbers to swap gifts! I love watching her play with her friends. They all had such a fun time!

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas...

I just love this time of year! And I really love this time of year when it's 70 degrees!

There are lots of fun Christmas activities in our town during this time of year. Friday night, we took the girls to the live nativity drive thru at a local church. I used to love this growing up and I am so glad they have started it back again this year. We loved it so much that we went back again Saturday night! I try so hard to teach my girls what Christmas is really about and this is such a great way!

We also went and checked out the North Pole Stroll at the park. Several schools and businesses decorate trees in the park. Hadleys school had the cutest one with all their little pictures on the ornaments. She was so excited to find hers but seemed even more excited to find her "boyfriends" ornament... Not so sure how I feel about that!

We also got to help celebrate Bradson's birthday at a party today! Poor Bradson with all these girls!

And we had a little fun around the house...
This girl really keeps me laughing! I'm so looking forward to the next few weeks filled with lots of friends, family, and food!!

The best little Christmas field trip...

Hadley went on the best field trip with her preschool today! There is a little Christmas tree farm in town that I've never been to so I was excited to get to go check it out.

They took the kids on a sleigh ride through the trees and told them all about how they grow them.

Then they got have a pony ride and sip hot chocolate around the fire.

After that we went to a local nursing home to hand out Christmas cards and sing songs. It touched my heart so much to see how something so small could bring such a smile to someone's face. Not gonna lie, I had big tears in my eyes as I watched this. It was such a blessing not only to the residents but to all of us.

We all had such a special time! I'm so thankful for Hadley's teachers at Little Tots! Such a special group of teachers and kids!
