Show Us Your Sales - LipSense

I am so excited about getting started with this little series on my blog today! Like I have said before, I am huge fan of direct sales and small business and I am so excited to be working with a few ladies to help share their products.

Today, I am featuring Taylor Gregory! She is long time acquaintance of mine and mama to a precious little girl and always has the best hair and makeup! I have not had a chance to try LipSense yet personally but I am the world's worst when it comes to reapplying lipstick throughout the day so I am definitely considering giving this a try! Thanks Taylor for sharing with us today!

Tell me a little bit about yourself.
My name is Taylor Gregory. I am a Dental Hygienist, Realtor, and LipSense distributor! As well as a Wife and Mother! Obviously, I am very busy! I don't have the time during my day to worry about reapplying lipstick. This is why LipSense is perfect for a busy mamma like me!

Tell me about what you sell.
I am a LipSense distributor. LipSense is a long lasting lip color that is kiss proof, smudge proof, and water proof!

What are you favorite products/things about your business?
The first thing that appealed to me about LipSense was that I would actually wear lipstick to work and not worry about it coming off inside of my mask! I also love that I can kiss all over my baby girl and not get lipstick all over her!

How did you get into this business?
I had heard several people talk about LipSense and really wanted to try it! A friend of mine let me wear hers one day I was instantly hooked! I called a sorority sister of mine who is a LipSense distributor and told her to sign me up! I was so impressed with the product and loved it so much I had to share it with others! I also knew that I was going to be so obsessed that I would need every color!

What’s the one thing you would want to tell someone about your business/product? LipSense will completely change the way you view lipstick! You won't have to worry about reapplying or smearing it all over your face during lunch. You can put it on in the morning before work and it'll look just as good when you get off! Unlike a lip stain, LipSense molecularly bonds to your lips and doesn't dry your lips out like a stain!

What’s the most rewarding thing you have found about being a rep for this product?
The SeneGence sisterhood is so uplifting and I have so many resources and wonderful training tools and support at my fingertips!

Show Us Your Sales - Wildflower Clothing

I am so excited to kick off this little "series" on my blog this week.  Stay tuned for the next several weeks as I share some really great products and businesses that my friends are working with.  If you know my girls at all, you know they love all things girly and dressy and looooove getting new clothes!  So we are all so excited to check out this new clothing company.  These dresses and outfits look so adorable and I can't wait to get some for my girls.  Heather is a local hostess for this new line and is the mother to three sweet little babies.  (You may remember reading her story here). I am so excited for her and for this new company!  Be sure to scroll to the bottom to get more information about how you can get your hands on the new release.

Tell me a little bit about yourself.: My name is Heather Thompson, and I live in Athens, AL! I am married to the love of my life, John, an engineer, and we will celebrate 13 years of marriage this coming December! I am a mom of 3 beautiful children, Shyloh 6, Penelope 4, and Canaan 1! They are my biggest gift and greatest challenge haha! I love auburn football, fitness, cooking, the beach and thrive surrounded by people!!  If you speak to those who know me, or just stalk me on Facebook haha, it's not hard to tell I LOVE ❤ dressing my children!! My girls enjoy matching and coordinating and adding a boy has been a new fun adventure this past year as well!

Tell me about what you sell/do. I always wanted to dress kids with fantastic clothes from my home, but the right line has never come along UNTIL NOW and God has placed the PERFECT company in His perfect time in my path and it happens to be launching BRAND NEW this August!!

Wildflowers is a clothing line for girls 6 month to size 14! It is comfy, gorgeous, high quality clothing inspired by individuality and fun allowing each girl to be herself, her own beautiful wildflower 🌸.

What’s the one thing you would want to tell someone about your business/product? This is obviously a very new adventure to me but one I'm incredibly passionate about! Kids are my passion, I taught kindergarten for 4 years prior to having my own babies, and I love meeting new moms and connecting, building a relationship and supporting each other on this wild ride...and having a great time along the way!!
What’s the most rewarding thing you have found about being a rep for this product? Seeing these girls faces light up as they twirl in a new dress, choose their perfect first day of school outfit, and giggle as they match their friends and sisters brings me such joy! AND EVEN that not quite tween girl who finds the magic outfit that is not too baby and not too grown!! Not to mention seeing the happy mom who now has the PERFECT set of clothing for those upcoming pictures or event!! 😉

Anything else you want to share? I would love to sit down and eat a snack with you....maybe even enjoy a drink, and share mom war stories and bloopers while our kids play and you shop!!

Coming to a party is really the best way to see our clothes and get first dibs since you can't order online until AFTER each release! I would love to work with you and make sure you get the perfect styles for you girls before sell outs!! Please feel free to message or call me for party info near you OR to even set up your very own party!!  256 431-5956

I hope to see you soon!!! 🌸

Our LAUNCH PARTY is at Carla Lawrence Photography in downtown Athens July 29 from 11-3 😃 hope to see you there!!

Wellness Wednesdays 04

Here I am at week four and I honestly feel like I have made zero progress.  Yes my pants still fit and yes I have been running and exercising pretty regularly, but my lack of commitment is pretty embarrassing and I am really having a hard time staying "on track" with my nutrition.  Summer is just so full of parties and get-togethers and I have ZERO discipline and will power when it comes to sweets.  Like I just cannot have them in my house or anywhere around me because I cannot resist.  It is so frustrating for me to do so well for several days and then totally blow all my hard work on the weekend.  I am so frustrated with myself right now and not happy where I am physically at all.

So... with that being said.... I have figured out that I do not do well without a plan.  I need rules and structure and accountability.  I have joined a few Facebook challenge groups hoping they would help give me a little more accountability but I think I need to stop trying to wing it so much and for real follow a meal plan and write down and share my measurements and goals to keep me on track a little better.  One of the groups I joined is following the Shift Shop as I mentioned earlier.  The Shift Shop follows a container system eating approach that is very similar to the 21 Day Fix I did several months back.  The Shift Shop comes with an easy to follow meal plan including recipes and shopping lists.  We were a bit out of whack this week because of several parties and are leaving for a mission trip this weekend for a few days so I am pushing off that particular meal plan until we get back BUT I am strictening things up here a little tighter until then.  I'm drinking my shakeology for breakfast, have my lunches prepped and ready, and have some simple clean and healthy dinner recipes ready.  I am a firm believer that high protein, low carb diets work best for me and I am making a cautious effort to try and get some more veggies in my days.

I am running T/TH/S and doing a Shift Shop workout M/W/F and taking "off" on Sundays.  I am really proud of myself for sticking to this as much as I can.  Those 30 minutes for myself each evening does wonders for my sanity.  I downloaded a new playlist and a few new podcasts to give me a little extra motivation to get moving each day.

And.... I decided to actually share my stats here.... it is so hard for me to do this.  I don't really know why I struggle with this but I am hoping it gives me a little more motivation!  I'm not confident enough to share my before pictures and probably will never get there but this is a big step for me to actually share "my stats." I am not happy with these and am really looking forward to watching them shrink over the coming weeks.

7th Celebration

We had the best time celebrating Hadley yesterday!

She requested a scavenger hunt for her birthday gifts so I woke her up early and she searched for clues that led her through the house to her gifts in the kitchen... a Music.ly shirt and a Jojo hairbow.  Are anyone else's kids obsessed with this like my kids are??

Hadley shares the same birthday with her Kindergarten teacher so they had planned to have a lunch date on their birthday months ago before school got out.  My sister and mom took her to meet Mrs. Howell at Firehouse Subs and Hadley was sooo excited.  She turned into "school Hadley" and I don't think she hardly said a word all lunch but she was so happy to get to see her teacher that she has missed so much this summer.

Instead of a big party this year, Hadley requested a cookout at home so we invited some of our family and a couple of friends over to grill out and play in the backyard.  Hadley had the BEST time and said it was her best birthday ever (she says this every single year)!

And then you were seven...

Oh my little one, how is this even possible? Seven years old!  I will never forget the day you came into our lives.  The excitement, the joy, the worry, the fear.  You, my little one, taught me how to be a mother and you hold such a special place in my heart as my firstborn baby.

But you are growing so fast... way too fast.  You are such a big kid now.  You are so full of personality and the most out going little thing.  You love people and you love life.  You love being the center of attention and you entertain anyone who comes your way. You rise early in the morning but you crash hard at bedtime. You love to talk.... and talk and talk and talk... all the time. You will never ever win a game of quite mouse (unless you are at school where you are a totally different child that would just absolutely die if you ever got in trouble). You are so curious.  You want to know everything there is to know about everything and everybody and you don't ever miss a beat.

You are so full of emotion and wear your heart on your sleeve.  You are a rule follower and always tend to be in charge. You are such a good little helper and all your teachers have bragged so much on you.  You really make me so proud!

You love your friends fiercely and love to tell us all about them. You don't see color or status and I love that so much about you.  I love your excitement for everything.  Your little squeals and giggles and smiles just make my day.  You get so excited about the smallest little things and your excitement is so contagious.

Your favorite animal is a puppy dog.  Your favorite outfit is your cold shoulder top and wedges because you think it makes you look grown up. Your favorite food is tacos and you want to be a volleyball teacher and Taylor Swift when you grow up.  When I asked you what your most favorite thing in the whole wide world is, you said Jesus.  Oh you make my heart smile so big my little one.

I just need you to stop growing so fast.  I need to just freeze time so I can just bottle you up and take you all in.  I know you are destined to do great things in this big world but I am not ready for you to get there just yet.

Happy Birthday to you Hadley! Today, we celebrate YOU! May your day be filled with everything you want it to be!
