Project 333

I am jumping on the Project 333 train again for the rest of the summer.  A new challenge starts next week and but I am jumping the gun a little bit and joining in now.  If you are not familiar with Project 333, you basically choose 33 pieces of clothing to wear for the next 3 months.  I get such a blah feeling every so often with my closet and look forward to a little "challenge" to help me get excited and organized about my wardrobe again.

Over the last few months, I have slowly realized that I am a tshirt and jeans kind of girl.  Considering I work in a professional office setting though, I have to dress this uniform up a little bit with a little nicer pants and some accessories but I am currently all about wearing something comfortable and functional.

There are tons of websites and guides and such online to help plan and organize your Project 333 but basically it is all about focusing less time and money on clothes and what to wear and more on things that really matter. I am a little bit obsessed with following along with other peoples projects and am excited to jump in again! One of my main goals is to NOT buy a single piece of clothing for the next 3 months.  Summer weather goes well through September here so I will be glad to finish up this capsule just about the time I start getting in the mood for fall and cozier warmer attire.

My wardrobe looks something like this...

8 Bottoms
16 Tops
2 Dresses
2 Cardigans
1 Jacket
4 Shoes

As a side note - I chose not to count my athletic and lounge wear but I have limited it to just a few pieces as well.  Maybe I should start an athleisure capsule wardrobe as well? We will save that for another day!

Anyways, I do a terrible job of capturing and documenting my daily wear mainly because I don't have anywhere to take a good picture or I am always in a hurry and just don't think about it in the mornings but I will do my best to check in every so often to see how it is going.
