Blog-tember - Books

I really love to read.  If I am ever sitting still for more than a couple of minutes (which doesn't happen too often) you will probably find me a with a book in my hand.  I keep one with me just about all the time.

I am currently reading Deliver Her by Patricia Perry Donovan.  It is a about a teenage girl named Alex whose life starts spiraling out of control after she loses her best friend in a car accident.  Her mother is desperate to help her so decides to use a secret transport service to send her to a private boarding school where she can get help.  However, the transport goes wrong and Alex escapes.  That is as far as I have gotten so far but I am finding out all kinds of secrets from all the characters and am having a hard time putting it down.
You can read about some of the books I have read lately here. I haven't always done the best job capturing all the books I read on my blog (especially if I didn't really love it) but I am really trying to do better.  I was scrolling through some of the ones I have mentioned and realized I never mentioned Big Little Lies by Liane Moriarty.  I have really loved all of Moriarty's books I have read but this is the one that got me hooked.  First of all, it is about a group of Kindergarten moms (woohoo I can so relate to that right now) and all the drama that surrounds them.  I love the way the book starts off with a murder and then goes back in time leading you up to what really happened and all the secrets and lies behind it.  I fell in love with the characters of this book and seriously read it in like two days.  It was that good!  Oh and they are making a TV series of it starring Reese Witherspoon coming in 2017 and I CANNOT wait!

Next on my radar is Truly Madly Guilty by Liane Moriarty.  As I just mentioned, I have loved just about everything I have read by her.  Her characters are so funny and relatable and she really weaves real life problems that we face every single day into her stories in a funny and mysterious way.  Pretty sure this one will jump in my buggy next time I head to Target.
I cannot wait to link up and see what everyone else is reading today!

    1. Big Little Lies was the first one I read and probably my favorite! Three Wishes and The Husbands Secret are both really good too! They literally make me laugh out loud sometimes.
