Hunter Claire and the Lollipops started off their season with two wins this week! It took HC a few at bats to really figure it out and she may have been spotted a time or two with her glove on her head, but she said she loved it and they sure are cute to watch! And.... she was more than thrilled to see some of her little school friends on the other team.
Hadley kicked off her season on Thursday with her first ever soccer debut with the Green Dragons. I was so proud of how well she did especially to have never played before. She may have stated that it wasn't as fun as she thought it was going to be but I think she will enjoy it more as the season goes on.
Friday was the most perfect day! Sunshine and warm weather just really put me in a good mood. I took the babies to school and then ran a few errands until time for them to get out. (Errands including sitting at the library reading my book for like an hour... it was glorious). HC was sooo thrilled to wear her new "ripped jeans" and "art shirt." Can we take a small moment to talk about how these preschoolers all of a sudden seem like they are 12?!
Hadley's class went on a fun field trip to Let's Pretend Hospital and she said it was soooo much fun!
After I picked up the littles from preschool, we met some of my family for lunch and then headed to play at the park for a bit. The girls were super excited to find a few hidden rocks!
We decided to grill some burgers and hotdogs Friday night so some of our friends came over to join us. Hadley requested we make some smores too and they were sooo good. I love love love a fresh hot melted smores!
We finished the evening curled up on the couch watching The Greatest Showman! We may have all zonked out before we were even half way through it but we had been really looking forward to it coming out for months!
Saturday and Sunday were full of rain and cold so we pretty much just had much needed lazy Pajama Day at home!
