Easy Peasy Ribbon Hair Ties

One thing that I can't stand is little girls hair all in their eyes.  At our house, we always have some type of hair accessory in our hair whether it be a big hair bow, a shiny head band, or simply a clear elastic with their hair pulled back... especially when they are playing ball or dancing.

And like any good little Southern ball player, a vital part of your uniform is the bow that goes with it... but... big hair bows are a serious nuisance with little girls and big helmets and all so I whipped up these super easy-peasy ribbon for the little Lollipops.

Basically, you just find whatever type of ribbon you want (I personally prefer the 7/8" or smaller).  I cut each ribbon about 12 inches long.  Lay the ribbons flat on top of each other and then pull through an elastic ponytail holder.  Tie all the ribbons together in a knot around the elastic (with printed side of ribbon facing out) and then pull very tightly.  You can add a dab of hot glue to the knot to hold it together a little better but it really is not neccessary.

And there you have it my friends ... a very easy and cute accessory for our little ball players!
