We enjoyed dinner on the patio one night while it was warm.
April is National Sexual Assault Awareness and Prevention Month and our base had a 5K this week to raise awareness. They advertised it as a color run but I apparently way underestimated how much color they meant by that. I had thought it would be a great morning run before I went into work but it ended up turning into me being stained blue most of the day! It was a really great run and I had a really good pace and time though plus it was for a good cause so it was still good in the end!
We got to sneak a little peak of Hunter Claire's dance practice. They have started practicing their recital routine and it is sooooo sweet... not sure how I am ever going to make it through recital without tears though... I mean any song that talks about growing up and flying away is always a killer.
Hadley went home with a friend on Friday for her birthday party. I so love all her little friendships... she is definitly a little social butterfly!
The girls games both got rained out on Saturday and considering it was 35 degrees most of the day, I was more than thrilled about that. But we did venture out to celebrate our sweet little friends birthday!
Sunday was another cold day so we spent most of the day laying around and watching the Masters. Then we had some fun at AWANA Sunday night! I really love these kids and watching how much fun they have!
We are looking at some much warmer and sunnier weather this week (Praise the Lord) and hopefully will get to officially kick off soccer and tball!
