Weekly Wrap Up - Tooth Fairies, Kite Day, and Easter

Getting back into the swing of things after a week long break is never much fun but we survived it.

We started the week off with a little visit from the Tooth Fairy.  She was a little surprised when she arrived and found a special little note with a request to leave her wand.  Luckily, she was a quick thinker and politely informed Had that she could not do that because it helped her fly but left an extra dollar and a picture of it instead.

Hunter Claire had a little Easter party and egg hunt at school on Wednesday.  Her whole class posed for some sweet pictures with their special Easter Bunny visitor but of course my child would have absolutely nothing to do with him.

We had fun at choir on Wednesday night practicing for their performance on Sunday.

Hadley was so excited about this little cup she crafted for her teacher.  I so love her imagination and creativity.

Jarrod and I were off on Friday and HC was out of school for Good Friday but Hadley had to make up a weather day (booo).  So, HC and I took her lunch and hung around for Kite Day to make it a little better.

Friday night, HC had her first little practice game.  Jarrod and I are both helping coach her team this year and we are all having so much fun!  I can't wait until the season starts next weekend!  (PS - I have seriously failed on taking pictures of her playing.  It's a little bit like herding wild cats or taming ants). Our niece was playing in town Friday night too but it got a little chilly so we parked in the outfield and watched from the nice warm car for a little bit.

We had a busy busy busy day on Saturday full of lots of fun stuff!  Hadley had soccer practice first thing and then her friend from school came home with us afterwards to play.  We went to the Easter Egg Hunt at our church before spending a little time playing at home.

Later in the afternoon, some more friends came over for a little egg hunt and then we finished the day grilling and finally getting to enjoy our back patio a little bit (those pictures are currently trapped on my camera).

We celebrated Easter on Sunday with our family.  After checking out a few treats that the bunny dropped by, we went to Easter breakfast at our church.  The kids did a GREAT job singing in the service (while HC sat nice and still singing from the front pew) and we ended the morning with a little family photo shoot in our new Easter frocks.

We spent the afternoon with my family eating all the foods and hunting more eggs.  It was a gorgeous day and we came home to spend a little more time playing outside before dark (those pictures are currently trapped on my camera too).

I could not have asked for a better weekend!  :)
