Happy Easter

Easter was a little different this year. We enjoyed a beautiful Saturday full of lots of fun Easter fun at home. The girls got up and put on their Easter frocks. Our church had a special live children’s church for the kids and then we hunted eggs in the yard. We even dyed some sparkly tie-dyed eggs (btw these plastic eggs that look real were the best $2 find of all Easter).

Dad also somehow managed to throw a softball through our bedroom window and shatter it to a million pieces so we took a little break to call in Babu to come help us cover it up before the storms rolled in!  Oh joy!

The girls woke up to Easter treats from the bunny but didn’t quite catch him in the trap they made. It was a yucky stormy day so we spent most of the day just hanging out inside. We watched a few Easter movies and special Easter services on TV, then enjoyed Easter dinner provided in plastic ware from JeeJees. We enjoyed a day full of rest and worship and just spending a low key day together.

We are so thankful for a risen Savior to celebrate!
