Warning: this is a super long post with lots of pictures because .. well because it’s October and there were a million great moments.
I was super fortunate this year to be selected for a leadership program and got to travel to the DC Area a few times for the class. I made some great new friends and learned all sorts of great skills I will take with me forever. I started off the month with my last session and it was really a great week. We got to go on a tour of Arlington and I even got to sneak away to the movies by myself one evening. I am so thankful for this group of people that I got to spend this year with.
Is it really October if you don’t visit the Fiddler’s Convention? I got back from my trip just in time to enjoy a funnel cake!
We spent our Saturday’s cheering again. We spent days in the blazing heat, freezing cold, and pouring down rain… all in the same month! These little cheerleaders were such troopers though. They also enjoyed supporting Breast Cancer Awareness this month as well.
The girls attended a Daddy/Daughter dance that the high school sponsored. They were so excited about and loved spending the evening dancing with their friends.
The Firecrackers won the fall championship! I so loved helping coach this little team! Had you told me at the beginning of the season, that we would ever win a game, I probably would have laughed. I loved this sweet little group of girls though and am so proud of them.
We enjoyed a fun Halloween party with our friends from Mrs. Sam’s.
The girls finally got to go on their Fun Run limo ride.
We dressed up as a creepy, cooky family for our Trunk or Treat at church. Hunter Claire also won the guess how many games and was the proud winner of 427 M&Ms!
I survived double room-mom duties for the Halloween parties for their classes at school! Plus I was also the lucky winner of organizing our Halloween Party at work earlier that morning as well.
