The Best of September

I guess the biggest news of the month was this little bright pink cast that joined our family.  Hunter Claire fell off the monkey bars at school and broke her left arm (which just so happens to be her dominant hand).  And of course it just so happened to happen the week before her first softball game.  But it did not slow her down one bit!  She mastered doing all the things with one arm!

We went to a few fun birthday parties.

We watched lots of football and some volleyball.

And cheered.... a lot..... and were sooooo hot!!

The girls had Grandparents Day at school!  So thankful for a big group of grands that love on them so well.

We spent lots of time at the ballfield cheering on our one armed Firecracker!  HC figured out how to catch the ball and swing with one arm and I must admit, I was pretty impressed with how well she still played.

I ran a few 5Ks... including my best time ever!

We really showed our spirit for our Golden Eagles including lots of Homecoming Fun.

And we finished the month off with the Newman Ninja Warrior run at school.  The girls worked hard to raise enough money to win the limo ride and were so excited about it all.

I am not sure fall is ever going to show it’s face around here.  It’s been such a hot September but fingers crossed some cooler days will come soon.
