I feel like we have had the strangest weather
this year. It’s been pretty mild for the most part but Easter weekend, it
decided to get super cold and rainy again. Our church had a fun (but wet
and cold) egg hunt on Saturday but then it was absolutely gorgeous and super
warm on Easter Sunday! We enjoyed the day celebrating our Risen Saviour with
our church and our family.
Hadley wrote a sweet little song about Easter.
She loves to journal and write songs and I so love when she lets me take
a little peek at them.
We threw a fun little surprise fiesta for my friend, Leslie's 30th birthday!
My Aunt is retiring from coaching after some 35+
years so we skipped school a little early one day and let the girls got be bat
girls for her team. They planned her a little ceremony honoring all her
many years and we surprised her with several of her alumni attending as
well! It was a great day celebrating a
WONDERFUL aunt and coach!
The girls have both been having lots of fun
playing ball and their little teams have both done really great so far!
HC hit her first ever home run and got the game ball! She was so happy she slept with it!
HC was also invited the Heart of Gold Luncheon
with the principal for this term. She was so proud and so very much
deserving. She really does have such a
big heart for others.
It's been a fun month!
