We enjoyed the long Columbus Day weekend. We spent some time at the Fiddler's Convention Friday and Saturday night. HC tried a little buck dancing (which she was actually really good at) and we enjoyed Funnel Cakes for dinner. We also had a yard sale on Saturday morning so we spent the rest of the weekend hanging out at home and resting up.
Hunter Claire earned the Golden Ticket for her class this week as well for being a good leader! I was so super proud of her for this and she was thrilled to get to sign the board an ring the bell.
Friday night, one of my best childhood friends was in town and she is expecting a little girl soon we had a little get together for her with some old friends. It was so great catching up and seeing everyone.
Hadley spent the night with a friend and then we met her at her football game on Saturday. It was our first little taste of the cold... but it was just a trick because it warmed way up by the afternoon.
After the game, we headed to the pumpkin patch because I mean you can't have October without a visit to the Pumpkin Patch right? The kids had a great time playing on all the fun things they have there!
It's been a great start to October and I am really looking forward to all the rest of the fun we have planned!
