Weekly Wrap Up - K-Camp and Cheer Camp

It was a big week for both of the girls this week.  Hunter Claire started Kindergarten Camp at her new big school this week.  They go for a few half days to just learn about the basics of the school and meet their new teachers and friends.  She was a little nervous at first but it helped to have her cousin in her class with her!  She wanted me to talk to her teacher because she was worried that she would get in trouble for writing with her left hand but was thrilled to find out that her teacher was a lefty as well!  She said she had a great time and can’t wait to go back for real.

We also celebrated Jarrod’s dads birthday this week.  We sure do love our Papa and are so thankful for all he does.

Hadley’s highlight of the week was attending cheer camp with her little cheer squad.  They learned lots of little cheers and dances from the “real” cheerleaders and even got to bring home her own pom poms and megaphone!  She had the BEST time!

I had the privilege of going with some of my family to Indianapolis this weekend to work at the Women of Joy conference.  It was a nice little get away for a few days.  I got to hear some incredible Godly women speak and perform and it is always refreshing to have a hotel room to myself!

While I was gone, the girls got to go to a few birthday parties for some of their friends.  Thanks to my fam for getting them where they needed to be but they had a great time celebrating their friends.  And they even got a Taco Bell date with their dad!

I also missed my family’s annual Back to School Party while I was gone but the girls still got to go.  They came home with lots of great stuff to get all ready for the new school year!
