We didn't quite recover from recital weekend before jumping into another busy week! I did enjoy a little extra time with the girls between rehearsals and dances and such.
We kicked off VBS on Sunday and spent the first half of the week learning all about being Shipwrecked and how Jesus rescues us no matter what! I taught the preschool class and we had all sorts of fun but lawd, their ain't no tired like VBS tired! We had lots of kids and some made amazing decisions so all in all it is all totally worth it!
The girls also attended VBS at my mom's church this week. Two VBS in one week is a little much but they had already planned to do both before we realized the dates were the same and really did not want to miss out.
And if that wasn't enough, we threw in swimming lessons this week on top of that!
The Lollipops had their end of season party Friday night. They all had a wonderful time on the water slide and eating cookie cake with lots of icing!
We spent most of the weekend laying low and recovering! We had a family wedding on Saturday night so the girls absolutely loved that!
The kids choir sung a special at church this morning. I always so love when they do this!
We did find lots of time on Sunday to celebrate our Daddy's! We enjoyed a shrimp boil with Jarrod and his family before visiting a little while with my Dad as well. I am so thankful for these men in our lives. Jarrod and I both have wonderful, dependable, and hard working dads who are always there for us and the kids no matter what it is. They are both some of the most helpful and sacrificing men you will ever meet. And I can't leave out Jarrod! I am so thankful for how much he supports me and helps me in everything that I do. We are some blessed little girls!
And... on time of all of the fun we had going, my computer decided to crash and I only made it worse when I tried to google how to save it myself. After some big moments of panic and lots of dollars later, I walked out of Best Buy with a new computer and all of my pictures miraculously saved! I will be spending this week backing up everything that I have!
