November Happenings

So I somehow basically took the last two months off from this little spot but to be honest, I have missed it a little bit.  We have been so super busy and every single down moment I had has been spent unpacking, decorating, cleaning, or Christmas prepping.  I feel like I have been chasing my tail for weeks but we are finally getting back to a little normalcy! So since December is knocking at our door step, I thought I would do a little recap of November!

Hadley raised enough money for her school fundraiser that she won a ride in a limo to Village Pizza and the high school football game!  She pretty much thought it was the best thing ever and had a blast living the high life with her little school friends!

We had lots of little turkey and Thanksgiving crafts for school.  HC's Wonder Woman turkey may have been one of my favorites (thanks to a little help from Auntie LL while we power moved).

We went to the movies to see Wonder.  I read this book several months ago and knew I could not wait to share it with my kids when they got a little bigger.  When I heard the movie was coming out, I was just ecstatic and literally rushed to the theater on opening day.  It was one of the BEST movies I have ever seen and I would go back and see it 100 more times.  I hope my girls learned a little bit about treating others with kindness no matter what they look like or where they come from.  Every single child needs to read this book and see this movie.  It literally made me feel all the emotions.

We spent a weekend in Birmingham celebrating some special weddings.  We attended a reception for some dear friends of ours who had been married a few weeks earlier. We then spent some time with my family celebrating my baby cousins wedding.  It was a really fun weekend for everyone!

Jarrod turned 30 this month and spent it in Arkansas duck hunting with some of his favorite buddies.  He also cut off 9 inches of hair and donated it!

We finished up November, celebrating Thanksgiving with our favorites and getting our house all ready for Christmas!  We have officially kicked off the holiday season and are looking forward to everything that we have in store!
