January Happenings

Not sure where January went to but here we are over half way through already!  I love the slow pace of January.  I love the "off season" when we don't have tons of activities going on and get to enjoy a little more time at home together.

I did have to travel to DC for work for a few days last week.  I always love seeing our nation's capitol... especially from the sky. I stayed in the the Old Town Alexandria area and it's such a neat little place.

My Nanu's phone messed up the other day so we spent way too much time at the Apple Store trying to get that fixed.  We ended up getting a little shopping done while we were out and enjoyed a little girl time.

HC has been saving her money for a weeks for a watch she had her eye on.  We finally took her back to the store and let her spend her money on it.  She was so excited and so extremely proud of herseld for saving up and waiting to make her purchase.

I met my friend Melesa for lunch today.  She is getting married in October and asked the girls to be her flower girls!  They are beyond thrilled!  After lunch, we went to the chapel to check it out and start making plans for the big day.  I am so excited for her and can't wait to share in her special day!
