I don't know about you but we are only one week into May and it is already kicking my tail. Between field trips,
ball games, church activities, and school events, I have had zero time to catch up on anything. My laundry pile
is overflowing, my floors look like a dust bowl, and my flower beds are screaming for some attention. Not to
mention, the last two weekends have been jam packed with physical activities that have absolutely worn me out.
Yes, I am whining and maybe I should tough it up and get over it but geez this mama is worn smack out! So this
week, I am taking a break. I have decided to take a little mini vacation in the middle of the chaos and I am not
stressing over waking up and going for a run or staying up late to get that late night sweat session in. I am not
worried about meal prepping or counting every single calorie that goes in my mouth. And we may even hit up
the drive thru one night. And that is OKAY! God gave me a healthy body and I find it super important to take
care of that body as best as I can. But taking care also requires rest and reducing stress and just going with
the flow for a few days.
I'll be back next week with that early morning alarm, that perfectly planned menu, and all those other things
that make me all strong and healthy. But this week, I am focusing on taking a little break and just taking it
easy for a few days and that is A-okay with me today.
PS - no idea what is going on with this font!
