March Happened

We started March off with one of the BEST days ever!  Hadley had been asking a lot about asking Jesus into her heart and becoming a Christian. She told me one night at bedtime that she had prayed for just that and felt like she floating on air!  We talked about it all and she knew 100% she was ready to get baptized.  She went up in church and shared her decision with our church family and we all celebrated BIG with her.  I was so blessed with all of our loved ones that came to share in her baptism and was so overwhelmed with the peace of knowing that she made the most important decision of her life!  I was one proud mama for sure!

HC turned SIX and we spent what felt like a whole week celebrating!  She invited some friends to come party with her at the Ninja Warrior Training Academy and it was the greatest party ever!  HC loves to watch and play America Ninja Warrior so there was nothing better than getting “trained” with her best friends and competing in some fun obstacles.  It was a super fun party and she has already requested to do it again when she turns seven next year! She even made her own cupcakes :)

We officially kicked off softball season!  The girls were both super excited about meeting their new teams!

Hadley had a little mishap with her glasses and broke them for the first time ever since she got them over two years ago!  It was about time for some new ones anyways so she was excited about a good reason to go pick out some more.  Too bad they make her look so growny though!

We had a pretty low key spring break but we did end up getting to take a little trip to Birmingham for a few days.  We spent the day at the zoo while Jarrod and my dad golfed and then spent the night at Ross Bridge.  There isn’t much that these girls love more than a fancy hotel with a swimming pool.

I had to go up to D.C. for the last week of March for work.  We had a little free time in the evenings to I enjoyed wondering around our nation’s capital some.  I also got to visit Mount Vernon for a super short trip and I can’t wait to take Hadley back with me some time.  She loves all things President so I know she would love it!

We spent most of the rest of the month just doing our normal things...  we spent some fun times with friends, enjoyed some fun activities at school and even got in a quick trip to the movies to see Dumbo too!.
