Hello December

Besides almost slicing my finger off chopping some potatoes, we had a great Thanksgiving enjoying a little extra time with our family and eating all the foods.

My friend Melesa invited us to attend the Iron Bowl last week.  I had never been to one before so we were all super excited to go. We had a great day cheering on the Tide and catching up with each other.

On Monday, it was super cold and windy but I had signed up for the Galaxy of Lights 5K and was determined to do it.  It seems like every year something has come up and I haven’t been able to but Jarrod loaded up the girls and we all bundled up and enjoyed a fun time.  We even got to see Santa and sip on some hot chocolate.

As I’ve mentioned, my cousin is getting married next week so we threw her a little Girls Night In Lingerie Shower.  The girls are flower girls in the wedding next week so we are all looking forward to that!

We gathered with my family for our annual Keenum Christmas get together on Saturday and we all had a great time crafting and hanging out with some of our family we don’t get to see very much.  The girls found some old pictures of some of their grandparents and wanted their picture taken too.

We loaded up on cookies at a fun cookie swap at church.

We enjoyed watching the Athens Christmas Parade on Thursday after a little visit with a very special Santa.

And our elves returned from the North Pole this week!

Between all the upcoming wedding and Christmas activities, we have a full few weeks ahead and I am so looking forward to it all!
