November Happenings

I did so great at the first of the year recording our weekly happenings and I hope to get back to the that after the holidays but some monthly recaps are going to have to suffice for now.  I cannot believe that November has practically flown by and we are sitting here right upon Christmas already!

We celebrated HC’s friend Scarlett turning five at the first of the month.

Hadley’s little team made the playoffs so we spent a few more weekends cheering.

HC got another Golden Ticket for always following rules and got to ring the bell again.

She also disguised her turkey as a watermelon for her project at school.

Hadley’s class performed a little Veteran’s Day Program at school.  They sung all the Battle Hymns of the Armed Forces and I was so super proud of them all!

Her art was also chosen to be displayed up town at this little Art/Craft show place.  Her little class is always doing lots of fun things.

I ran the Huntsville Half with my friend Misty!  It was the coldest day we have had all fall but I was so proud of my time!  I joined a pace group and finished over 12 minutes better than my previous race which was HUGE considering my training miles for this race has basically been nonexistent.

HC attended a birthday party for her little school friend at the park.

We showered my cousin Becca at a Bridal Tea.

We packed shoe boxes at church.

The little girls had a Thanksgiving lunch at school.

My sister won Teacher of the Year for her school and they held a banquet to honor her and the others in the school system.

I had planned a trip to a women's conference with some ladies from my church several months ago and it just so happened to fall on the same day that Hadley’s field trip was planned for.  Thank goodness her aunt Heather and Papa were able to tag along with her and her friends.  I so hate I missed it but I know she had a great time.

A few ladies from my church and some friends took a little getaway to Memphis for the Fresh Grounded Women’s Conference.  We had a great time listening to some powerful women speakers and enjoying a little time to just refill our cups.

We took a little family trip to the movies to see the new Wreck It Ralph movie and ended up having the best seats in the house.

We have Thanksgiving celebrations coming up tomorrow and then it is officially the holidays around here! We may have even already done a little Christmas decorating!
